Spinach-Cheese Swirls

For this quick snack we need:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed at room temperature (about 40 min)
- 1 egg, lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon of water
- 1/2 cup grated Muenster cheese (or any other cheese you like)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 10-oz pack frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1 spring onion, finely chopped

First heat the oven at 400F.

Mix the grated cheese with the chopped scallion

I haven't posted anything in a week, I know, but work is taking up all of my time. I'll try to redeem myself with this very tasty and quick quiche, for which you'll need:

- 1 lb asparagus, woody ends trimmed
- 4 oz bacon, finely sliced (optional)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen corn, thawed
- one handful of sun-dried tomatoes, sliced (optional)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed and rolled out for a 10-inch tart form

First and foremost, fry the bacon in a non-stick pan. When it's done, take out the bacon on a plate, leaving the fat in the pan, because the asparagus will go in there immediately

Another item for the birthday party: mini-pizzas, the kids absolutely adored them. The advantage of this dough is that it doesn't need to rise, due to the quantity of yeast, so there is no waiting time. This is one of Afrodite's recipes and I'm really sorry I didn't have time for it until now!

Un alt preparat pentru ziua domnisoarei mele: mini-pizza, pe care copiii le-au adorat. Avantajul acestui aluat este ca nu trebuie dospit datorita cantitatii de drojdie folosite, deci nu pierdeti vremea asteptand sa creasca. Reteta apartine Afroditei si imi pare tare rau ca n-am facut-o pana acum!

Ingredients:
- 500 gr flour
- 14 gr active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 250 ml water (or milk)

Avem nevoie de:
- 500 gr faina
- 14 gr drojdie uscata
- 1 lingurita sare
- 1 lingurita zahar
- 5 linguri de ulei de masline
- 250 ml apa (sau lapte)

Directions:
Dissolve the yeast with sugar in lukewarm water (or milk, if using)

Dizolvati drojdia cu zaharul in apa calduta (sau lapte, daca folositi)

Foarte usor de facut, chiar mai usor de mancat:


Very easy to make, even easier to eat





350 gr branza Cheddar data pe razatoare (eu am cumparat-o gata rasa) - 3 cups extrasharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
200 gr faina - 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
113 gr unt moale - 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
jumatate lingurita chimen (eu am pus chiar ceva mai mult, ador chimenul) - 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/4 lingurita sare - 1/4 teaspoon salt


Incalziti cuptorul la 425 grade Farenheit (cam 220 grade Celsius).

Preheat oven to 425F.

Intr-un castron amestecati cu mana toate ingredientele

In large bowl, with hand, knead Cheddar, flour, butter, caraway seeds and salt until blended
